Impermanence
In the deluded permanence of this physical charm,
Time shows its impending power,
Living through the experiences of life
Of all kinds, rough and fine,
Unfolds the spiritual chasm.
A pensive thought in realization
What serves you the most and holds you dearly close
That too is an impression, a delusion, an illusion
A fleeting grace in a moment
A testimony to the absolute impermanence.
The endless dance of the cosmos,
Puts this whole existence into question,
And my life under an inescapable scrutiny.
The chase to my joys and sorrows,
Now seem no worth.
In the fluidity of this movement continuous,
An eternal truth to abide to,
Entangled and entrained with everything around me
I am forever meant to dance,
To the high and low notes of the song that I was born to.
