Embracing The Light

Embracing the Light reflects a deeply personal journey of inner transformation - a movement from the outer layers of the self toward the acceptance of an authentic inner presence. The work emerged during a period of introspection, when turning inward became a way to reconnect with clarity, strength, and inner light. The form draws inspiration from the Shiva Lingam, symbolizing the eternal cycle of creation, dissolution, and renewal.

The sculpture incorporates symbolic elements such as the Kali Yantra and mythical Yali heads, representing fierceness, guardianship, and inner strength. Kali appears here as a force of awakening, guiding the release of fear, guilt, and limitation. Closed scrolls inspired by Tibetan traditions symbolize trust in inner guidance and faith in one’s own path.

 

Through layered form, colour, and meditative handwork, the piece reflects on self-discovery, acceptance, and the quiet illumination that emerges when one learns to listen inward.
